I’ve always been a bit of a skincare addict. From my not-quite-acne-but-still-embarrassing teenage years to the present day (better than those early naughties, but still not perfect), I’m constantly looking for new brands to try. My latest source of epidermal excitement comes from Zen Botanics; an all-natural Australian skincare brand that is handcrafted and chock full of pure, wholesome goodness. Their bottles, jars and labels are all recyclable glass and PET plastic, and are of course tested by happy, willing humans — not animals.
As well as being super excellent internally, ZB also do some pretty great work externally, with one dollar of every product sold going to the A21 Campaign; a non-profit organisation fighting human trafficking. Mad props for being such an all-round brilliant company.
Their branding is also pretty darn spiffy!
But enough about the inner goodness, what about the outer stuff? Luckily, ZB deliver in that aspect too. I was given the Bulgarian Rose Hydration Mist and the Clearing Cleanser to try, and both are delicious. The cleanser was particularly exciting for me — I generally get that icky, tight dryness after cleansers that I have to wash off with a good soaking of toner and moisturser, but the Clearing Cleanser left my skin feeling lovely and soft. Totally in love! The Night Therapy Serum is sitting at the top of my mental wishlist now.
