One Fine Print online: website / facebook / twitter / instagram / pinterest

Those that know me know my love for simple, natural, minimal goodness.

They also probably know my love of prints, although my rented walls aren’t the really the best canvas for hanging things. It certainly makes finding spectacular things such as One Fine Print upsetting to say the least!

One Fine Print work with talented Australian photographers to produce a range of artwork perfect for covering your empty (owned or rented) walls. It’s a perfectly curated collection of organic and abstract images that make absolutely stunning prints.

soft and airy californian home

Ahhhh I’m in love.

Allow me to introduce you: this is the home and workspace of the decor / fashion blog Mint + Varnish, and it’s stunning and I want to marry it.

Tucked away near the California coast, the loft belongs to M + V owner Valerie Wildes and her husband (plus their two gorgeous cats)! Valerie describes her personal aesthetic as “simple, clean, and intentional”, which I think perfectly sums up her space — it just oozes dreamy Californian vibes.

The bed is one of my absolute favourite features, and Valerie mentioned that it’s even handmade!

The wild collective

GYPSET.

Even if you’ve never heard of the term, you’re probably fairly familiar with the aesthetic. Gypset fuses the wild, carefree, bohemian style of the gypsy with the luxe sophistication of the jet setter. It’s free spirited and glamourous. Creative, laid-back and elegant. It’s fantastic.

In love with the concept yet? Realising you already have a Pinterest board dedicated to it? Awesome.

You are now ready to be introduced to and get excited by The Wild Collective. It’s a brand spanking new event, coming to Melbourne this August, that showcases local and international…

Tayham online: website / facebook / instagram / twitter / pinterest / tumblr

Do you like funny pictures? Witty captions? Stationery? Then do I have the giveaway for you!

Tayham are beautifully funny, bright, pop-cultured card creations that are guaranteed to put a smile on yo’ dial. They’re the brain child of native New Yorker, current North Carolin-er Taylor Hamilton (TayHam — get it?), and they are absolutely fabulous. I’m an avid card-giver, and usually resort to doodling all over generic Hallmark finds to make them more interesting (something I’m pretty sure I get from my…

Printable Valentine’s Day Card

Valentine’s Day is a funny thing. It’s seems to divide people into two parties: the flowers-and-hearts party, and the valentines-day-is-a-made-up-holiday-and-should-die party. I’m somewhere in the middle (if I’m honest, more towards the flowers-and-hearts party).

Whichever party you align with, I’ve whipped up a little V-Day card for that special person in your life. That person that isn’t quite the flowers-and-hearts type, but not necessarily the should-die type either. The middlies.

Cut along the crop marks, and fold along the middle. You’ve got yourself a card, bro.

five free stock photo sites (you’ll actually want to use)

The term “stock photo” conjures up a pretty specific type of image for most of us: a fiercely fake group of people — often a range of different races and genders — who all look maybe a little too happy to be at the beach / pointing at a phone / eating a salad. Maybe your mental image is of a business woman in a suit looking important and angry, or perhaps an over-saturated couple frolicking in a field. Stock phototography definitely has its place (mostly in corporate brochures) but if you’re like me and die a little inside…
