Sydney-based studio Blacklist is basically everything I love rolled into one —gorgeous brush typography; gold foiling; adorable slogans. Run by a very talented husband and wife team, they have a pretty spectacular design studio as well as their online store. Shop their gorgeous prints, cushions, wall flags and totes here, or check out some of their awesome art direction here!
You’ll also find them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr.
The gorgeous One Fine Day wedding fair a few weekends ago had light bulbs galore: exposed industrial globes, edison bulbs and strings of festoon lights. I absolutely adore the look as decoration — they looked amazing at night, and perfect in styled photos — and I’ve often lamented the fact that our ceilings are too low (and rented) to incorporate them into our home!

Every renter has to know the pain of bare walls: no hooks, or nails or hanging allowed. That’s okay though—walls are good for other things, too! I love these bold framed prints, simply leaned against the walls in perfectly styled vignettes!
If I had unlimited money and unlimited patience, my creative spaces at work and home would be perfectly styled, bright, airy and clean. As it is they’re very messy, a bit dark and covered in takeaway coffee cups (work) and mugs (home).
Nonetheless, I keep a collection of space inspiration images handy should I ever suddenly have an abundance of time and money. A girl can dream, right?
